Its a switchable dimmable 600 watt ultra lumanx ballast has a huming noise should I send it back its not that loud but u know its there. HAS ANY ONE USED THIS BALLAST BEFORE PLEAZE HELP

contact the seller/distributor. i have a 1000w dimmable w/very little noise and it also has a cooling fan which your lumatek does not, so i would think it would be relatively quiet. if you have a grow shop nearby, they should be happy to hook one up if they don't already have one set up.

Its not an lumatek its called ulti lumanxand it does have a fan but I you say your 1000 watt is pretty quite then am going to send mine back. Thanks
